Dancing With Mommy and Me dance class students

Ages 18 months-3

Dancing With Mommy and Me 

A 45-minute dance/movement class accompanied by an adult. This dance class is designed to teach children balance, coordination and social skills while working on creativity through music and movement. Props are used for imagination and fun. Basic tumbling skills are explored.

Preschool Dancing Fairies Dance Class students with musical instruments

Ages 3-6

Dancing Fairies (Ages 3-4)

This 45-minute dance class is for children who enjoy expressing themselves through movement. It will emphasize the importance of the ballet barre and structured exercises across the dance floor. This class will help develop self-expression while providing students the opportunity to share and experience their own ideas. Basic ballet and creative movement are taught using props for fairy imagination and fun, and Tap Dance is explored the last 10 minutes of class. Basic tumbling skills are explored.

Dancing Stars (Ages 5-6)

This 45-minute dance class is designed for the more "serious" dancer. It stresses the use of proper placement as well as the joy of dance coupled with the importance of the ballet barre and structured exercises across the dance floor. Coordination, rhythmic awareness, confidence, body control and body alignment are emphasized. Props will be used for imagination and fun, and Tap Dance is explored the last 10 minutes of class. Basic tumbling skills are explored.

Jazz/Hip hop Dance Class Students

Ages 6-9, Preteens and Teens

Ballet

A ballet class for students who love to move to music. It includes a warm-up, ballet exercises at the barre, center floor exercises and travelling center floor exercises. Proper placement, technique and terminology will be instructed. Ballet is the core of all dance and is highly recommended.

Jazz/Hip hop

Jazz and Hip hop classes are geared toward anyone who loves to dance using a broad range of dance styles. Emphasis is placed on the execution of jazz isolations, rhythms and styles performed to popular music and Broadway productions.

The Jazz/Hip hop dance style requires flexibility, timing and musicality with up-to-date Hip hop technique taught in an age-appropriate and fun atmosphere.

Adult Yoga Class students

Serenity Yoga - Adult Yoga Class

Yoga is a type of exercise in which you move your body into various positions in order to become more fit and flexible, thereby improving your breathing and relaxing your mind.

Irish Dance Classes

Our Irish Dance Classes teach proper technique for Traditional Irish Dances.

It's a fun and a great aerobic workout!

In addition, dancers will learn coordination, poise, movement and rhythm with emphasis on the basic style and characteristics which make Irish Dance a unique art form.

Ages 3 through Adult - No experience necessary
